I’m thrilled to share a few pieces of book news from the last week:
First, my debut adult novel, DISAPPEAR, sold to Sarah Knight at Simon & Schuster in a 2-book deal! I’m so excited to work with Sarah on this project and my next adult novel. Here’s a little bit about the book, from Publishers Weekly:
Disappear, Knight explained, is told in reverse and covers a period of two weeks. The story, Knight said, “unravels the mystery of two missing girls who vanished 10 years apart, and whose cases are linked by the same group of friends in a rural North Carolina town.”
We’ve also just sold my next Young Adult novel, CONSUMED, to Emily Easton at Crown Books for Young Readers/Random House. Emily has been my editor since my first book, Fracture, and I'm thrilled to continue working with her! From Publishers Weekly:
Her new book, Consumed, tells the story of Kelsey, a girl raised in fear by her mother, who was the victim of an abduction many years before. When her mother disappears, Kelsey finds herself questioning the version of events she's grown up with and realizes she has set something sinister in motion. It will publish in summer 2016.
I’ll share more about the books when I can. In the meantime, my next book, SOULPRINT, will be published in February, 2015. I hope you all enjoy it! And huge thanks, as always, to my fabulous agent, Sarah Davies.
